Thanks for swinging in! Writing with a bunch of smart young people, we blog about the monkey business of life with tweens 8-15, and love anything shiny and new. Book/movie/game reviews, shopping, nom nom snacks, OMG news and issues, pop stars, and YouTube LOLs are fair game in this jungle.

A Million Reasons to Believe: Santa Letters Support the Make-A-Wish Foundation

I've very lucky to be able to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation in my local area (Boston, RI, NH) as part of their National Believe Day campaign on December 9th and throughout the season.  All you have to do is write a letter to Santa, address it to him at the North Pole and add a stamp, and drop it in Santa's special letterbox at the Believe Station in any local Macy's store. For every letter received, Macy's will be donating $1 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, up to $1 million!

Write a letter with your tween, or encourage his or her scout troop, church group, or school to use this as a chance to remind your family what the holiday spirit is all about... giving.

thanks for the great idea-we're looking for things for our santa breakfast that would help out another organization
