Change is Coming - Anna Graceman, Shiny Pop Star

In this post-election week and as we round out 2012, I have been thinking about change. Some people are afraid of change, and some embrace everything, well, shiny and new.

Change is a sign of progress, of good things to come, of more opportunities ahead... no matter how old or young you are.

To inspire you, I introduce (or re-introduce) you to 12-year-old Anna Glassman from Juneau Alaska. You may remember her rocking America's Got Talent last year. Yea, she reminds of Jewel a little, and I admire her "old soul" style, confidence, and how articulate and creative she is. (She sings, plays piano, and writes all her own songs and music.) 

Today, she performs and records beautiful meaningful songs, and is yet another shiny pop star and role model we like to profile on this blog because she inspires us to follow your heart, embrace change, be your best self. Even cynical Simon saw right away that she had great promise... we do too.

Anna just launched her first album on iTunes - all music and lyrics are hers, including the one above titled "Change is Coming".  Enjoy!
